Chef David is a personal chef and small private party caterer in Chicago! Training professionally at Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School in San Francisco, CA., David honed his skills in restaurants and kitchens both in San Francisco and Chicago. Most notably; Wayfare Tavern (Food Networks, Tyler Florence-San Francisco), 1760 Polk St. (San Francisco), Girl and the Goat (Top Chef Winner, Stephanie Izard-Chicago), The Chopping Block Cooking School (Chicago).
Chef David’s love for food came at a young age while growing up outside of Detroit. He learned about the joys of food and cooking through his grandparents. David has fond memories of picking beans, tomatoes and greens with his grandfather in his backyard and learning how to transform these ingredients into great comforting dishes and family traditions. This sparked his interest in food he has been cooking for family, friends and dinner parties ever since!
