What to expect in your cooking class: Our classes are the ultimate guided discovery roadmap to help you discover your inner culinarian. Our guided discovery method allows you to actively participate in discovering knowledge in the kitchen. Your Chef instructor will verbally guide you through every step - starting from prepping ingredients, cooking steps until your dishes are complete and plated. Your Chef instructor will not be cooking alongside you, rather your Chef is 100% focused on you, sharing instructions, tips and tricks personalized just for you. Ingredients you’ll need: Cacio e Pepe: 16 oz spaghetti, bucatini, or other long, skinny pasta or substitute with gluten-free pasta 1 (or more!) cup freshly shaved pecorino (don’t buy pre-shredded) 4 tablespoons butter plenty of freshly ground black pepper kosher salt Herby Salad: 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon lemon zest 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon honey Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper 2 cups oz mixed greens or butter lettuce hearts 1 cup fresh basil leaves, torn 1 cup parsley leaves ½ cup other herbs: dill, mint, tarragon Equipment you’ll need: sharp chef’s knife cutting board digital thermometer measuring cups and spoons bowl for collecting scraps and garbage tasting spoons apron, recommended but optional clean kitchen towels paper towels 3-4 quart pot for cooking pasta large frying pan small cheese grater or microplane rubber spatulas or wooden spoons large mixing bowl small mixing bowl whisk
Reschedule + Cancellation Policy
To reschedule a class, send an email to email@example.com 24 or more hours before your scheduled class time. For all reschedule requests 24 or more hours before class time, we will cancel your scheduled class and provide you a credit to apply on a new booking. Do note, class prices may vary from the time of your original booking to a new booking, we cannot honor a class price. All classes are final sale, no refunds will be issued if the class needs to be canceled. There are no exceptions to this policy. Please note that if you are over 30 minutes late for your scheduled class, your class will be canceled if it cannot be completed in the remaining time. If your class is canceled, no refunds or reschedule credits will be issued. There are no exceptions to this policy. By purchasing your class, you agree to the following terms: In consideration of participating in Fēst cooking classes, I acknowledge and understand the dangers and risks inherent in such activities related to preparing food, consuming certain foods and working with tools and appliances. Instructor Change Disclaimer: Your instructor is subject to change based on availability and instructor schedule changes. We cannot guarantee that the instructor that is booked will be the instructor you will have in class. However, we can guarantee that you will be with exclusively a Fēst Certified Instructor. If you’d like to cancel your class due to instructor change, you may request to do so 24 or more hours before your class. If you choose to cancel your class, you will receive a full refund.
